Title: Family-friendly and welcoming
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities organized by the hostel.

The staff were very friendly, particularly the lady who does the washing and breakfast. The rooms were clean and basic so although they are not somewhere you can relax and want to spend a long time in, they do the job. There is a however, a great roof terrace/room where you have breakfast and can relax which has a great view from the overlooking cusco.
The hotel was situated on a very narrow street and as our room overlooked the street, we were unable to open the windows and get any fresh air because the fumes were so strong.

The Hotel staff was soo nice, they always want to help you.excellent location, but no hot water and no heating so the room was cold, but under the blankets its fine :) as long as you cover your nose( so you dont breathe the cold air) you are going to sleep so warm nd cozy.they also have a cafeteria where you actually can cook or heat your own food , if you want to cook, it would be an extra charge( small one) but if you just want to heat .your own food ( since in cuzco lunch's are big) ,you can heat it for free. The place is small ,is not like in the pictures, its just ok if you are going to spend just one night in cuzco, they dont speak to much English. If you want to get some stuff like something to eat, snacks, deodorant or personal stuff, you can find an store in the corner, very convenient.
No hot water..

Great value for money, with clean and well-equipped rooms. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Plaza de Armas and San Blas, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to accommodate our requests and providing excellent recommendations for tours.
Breakfast option could have been more varied.

Nothing. Cold, no soap or toilet paper.
Everything. We got ripped off for 30 soles each, 120 soles, being told that we would be provided with an English speaking translator on our city tour, when in actual;ity we were escorted to the Main Plaza and then dropped off with our tour group which was already paid for. The person walked us to the main Plaza and tried to have us pay aniother fee for entrance into the Cathedral and left us. her name was Dafne. It was a rip off. We could have found our way to the plaza, as we hadf already been escorted by the hotll person, Patty, to make a credit card paymenty. Very sketchy information. Don't pay the extra 30 soles per person. It is unnecessary. The tour guide speaks English. Dafne dropped us off and that was it. A rip off. Buyer beware.

1. The staff was very helpful. 2. The wifi and the use of a computer to travellers is one of the great advantages of this modest hotel.
The room was very poorly organized. There was a hole next to a slim wardrobe that deny all privacy. The ceiling was damp and ugly ( all against health). The walls badly needed a coat of paint. The slim wardrobe without a bar to hang the clothes. The curtain to a window half hang with a cord. The wc so near to the wall that one couldn't sit properly. All of that made us to leave this place the next day and cancelled the second night. I passed this information onto the Administrator hoping that this modest hotel can learn how to improve their venue, without spending much. It is all matter of lack of management.

The location is ideal, just a short walk to the main plaza where all the attractions are located. There are also plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood to choose from. the room was comfortable and the staff provided excellent service. the breakfast offered fantastic views and was a great way to start the day.
The walls were a bit thin, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

Location is excellent - 4-5 minutes walk from the city center. Price is relatively low. Staff is generally nice and helpful, although they don't always manage. For example, they happily agreed to supply a very early breakfast on the morning we went to Machu Picchu, but eventually nobody was awake to actually provide it.
The rooms are small and completely underequipped. There is very little shelves or other places to organize your stuff. For example, in one room the bathroom did not have hangers for towels, shelf for toothbrush etc and even a small stand for soap in the shower. Be prepared to store everything on the floor. Shower - hot water is available in theory, but it usually jumps between freezing cold and boiling hot so abruptly that it is practically very difficult to enjoy the shower. The room was generally not very nice. The carpet seemed old and not too clean and there was a peculiar odor in the room. These might be related to a leak from the shower, through the wall, which made the carpet wet in one corner of the room.

The only thing I liked about that hotel was the location...
I would never stay at that hotel again. It has the worst customer service ever, the rooms are not like they show in the pictures. The hot water is not 24 hours, and the "continental breakfast" is just coffee, one bread and a little ball of butter.

It is close to the Plaza D'Armas. The staff are ok. They looked after our bags for us when we went to Machu Picchu.
It is pretty run down - chipped plaster, dirty walls, moldy bathroom... Etc. It needs a good clean and fresh paint.

The family at this hostel made our stay unforgettable, treating us like their own. They went above and beyond to help us with our Machu Picchu trip and looked after our bags. They even recommended and accompanied us to amazing restaurants. The location in San Blas was perfect, with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. The rooms were basic but super clean, and the breakfast with a stunning view was a great start to the day. The staff was incredibly accommodating and flexible, even with our changing travel plans. The showers were hot, the wifi was strong, and we felt at home throughout our stay.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped me with my elderly parents. It suits me perfectly and has Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and a snack bar. I'm coming back for Christmas.
